In reality, this album is a re-release that was originally released on 78-rpm shellac pressing at the turn of the fifties when "jug" reached a peak of recorded popularity. This album is a good starting place for those of you unfamiliar with Gene Ammons. As you listen to evergreens like My Foolish Heart, Prelude To A Kiss, Pennies From Heaven, Once In Awhile, and You Go To My Head, I'm sure you'll nod in agreement with this album title.....Gene Ammons always makes it happen.
