Just found a Newban track called "If I could make you mine" on a vinyl comp I've had for years. I've always brought it with me to play, but I've always dropped the Lemuria "Hunk of Heaven" track and NEVER the Newban one. I'm so delighted to be a DJ for over 25 years and still find incredible tracks that are new to me, especially on my own vinyl! I'd love to buy the albums on vinyl but they are a bit over my head pricewise, and rightly so! What a collection of music, though I'm less enthusiastic about Atlantic Starr (sorry!). It was also a real shock to learn that Malcolm Addey of Cliff Richard and The Shadows was the engineer! I saw the comment by a past band member which was an extra bonus, if you read what I've written here, I'd love to invite you on my podcast for a chat. I was a member of this Band and co-wrote many tunes. It is a pleasure to see the music is still around. How do I purchase these albums? I have lost mine many years ago. Thank you for bringing back great memories. Although some of the members are missing: Sheldon Tucker Guitar, Duke Jones Trumpet, Mark Malsky Guitar. These guys were great contributors to these albums. Most of the members listed are from the group Atlantic Starr which is what New Ban became.
