Ludwig - Un Roi Pour L'Eternité is Wapassou's fourth studio album. In many ways, this is Wapassou's most artistically accomplished work. The narrative is based on an instrumental biography of King Ludwig II of Bavaria (1845-1886), who was particularly beloved in Germany. This illustrious ruler kept himself aloof from all political intrigues, caring first and foremost about the development of the arts and sciences. In particular, it was on his initiative that Richard Wagner, who was hiding from his creditors, was brought back to his homeland and glorified, and the famous Neuschwanstein Castle was built, which later inspired Mickey Mouse's father to create Disneyland. The music is Charming French prog, mostly instrumental. The instruments are: guitar, violin, and, most importantly, keyboards, which completely dominate the album. For those who like 70s keyboards, this is a garden of delights.
