Now this record is really rare and it has a story behind it as well. It's one of the four records that was released on Kamikaze, a small Belgian label that Marc Moulin and Paul Evrard ran together. They actually called the label 'Kamikaze' because the music on the records was so strange that the label would probably destroy itself like a kamikaze pilot. I first heard through this record by a friend of mine. Appearantly, Paul Evrard brought in his entire record collection in a local record store a few years ago. The owner was kind enough to borrow the first Kamikaze record to a friend of mine to listen to it. This record was the 'Noises'-lp on the label, a crazy record with one of the tracks where they just looped a sentence by Belgium's king Baudoin for 8 minutes...crazy indeed. One of the other records on the label was the Aksak Maboul - onze danses pour combattre la migraine Lp, an infamous rock record that's sought after by Belgian collectors. About this record: Cel Overberghe plays saxophone, Fred Van Hove (a relatively well known free jazz musician in Belgium back in the days) plays piano and they are backed up by the Scherzo String Quartet. It's all dark free jazz music: you love it or you hate it I guess...
